The Art Béton water-based sealer is designed to be applied over the Art Béton Coating. It is the first step in sealing concrete before varnish or urethane. For indoor use only. Art Béton sealer is ideal for concrete floors, tables, counters and cabinets.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Wait until the day after applying the Art Béton Coating. After sanding the Art Béton Coating, clean the surface with a vacuum cleaner to remove all dust and particles.
APPLICATION
- Apply sealant with a foam roller, use a paintbrush for corners and edges. Apply an even, bubble-free coat. Be careful not to leave any surplus or line during application. The sealer must be completely dry before applying the Varnish (Step 4). Will take 1 to 3 hours to dry. Speed up drying with a fan if desired.
- IMPORTANT - The concrete will gradually absorb the sealer but not evenly.
- CLEANING THE INSTRUMENTS Use a neutral soap with a pH of 7 to 9.
USING THE IMPREGNATING SEALANT
Surface : Shower, counter, floor, sink, exterior surface, etc.
Coverage : 150 ft2 to 200 ft2
Number of layers : 1 layer
Tools needed : Brush, foam roller, paint tray, 120, 180 and 320 sandpaper
Cleaning of tools : Neutral soap with a ph of 7 to 9
Time before the execution of the next step : about 8h
Interior Exterior Art Béton Premium Water-Based Impregnating Sealer penetrates the surface and fills pores. It acts as a protector against water and oils. It gives off a faint odor when applied.
USE
- Can be used indoors and outdoors on all surfaces for a optimal deep sealing . Use at a temperature between 10 and 30 0 vs.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Wait until the day after applying the Art Béton Coating for complete drying. Sand the concrete surface with 150 grit sandpaper to soften the edges and then with 180 grit paper. For a very smooth finish, use 320 grit paper. Clean the surface of any dust or particles using a vacuum.
APPLICATION
- Apply with a foam paint roller. Apply an even coat, without excess and without bubbles. Do not leave excess. A fan can be used to speed up drying. Leave to dry for about 8 hours.
IMPORTANT: The impregnating sealer must be completely dry before applying varnish or Urethane (Step 4). Drying from 12h to 24h. Follow the instructions provided by Art Béton for the rest of the procedures.
WASHING: Use a neutral soap with a ph of 7 to 9. ** REQUIRED FOR SHOWER and OUTDOORS - SUITABLE FOR ALL SURFACES **

Les Enduits Art Béton undertakes to replace the products used if, and only if, the application is made in strict accordance with the attached specifications and on a perfectly stable basis.
