DESCRIPTION

The Bosch GWS13-50VS 5" Angle Grinder is more powerful than previous generation models despite being the same size: 13 Amp and 11,500 rpm. The lower variable speed setting - 2800 RPM - allows the user to match the speed to the application. For operator comfort and control, the model features a Vibration Control side handle, which makes it less difficult to operate. The grinder uses Constant Response electronics for smooth starts, stable operation and reliable speed under load. For user safety, the model has a built-in acceleration sensor to limit inadvertent kickback, and restart protection to protect against accidental starting. It features tool-less quick-adjustable splinter guard and a large shaft lock for more convenient disc changing. Directed airflow keeps dust away from major components, direct motor cooling and Service Minder brushes that shut down the grinder when preventative maintenance is required – all of this extends tool life.
